Apple Date Torte

  
Ingredients:
  • 4 cup Apples; unpared/diced
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbs Butter; melted
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Nuts
  • 1/2 cup Dates; cut up
  • Whipped cream; whipped topping, OR ice cream
Directions:
  1. Combine all ingredients except whipped cream in order given. Stir but do not beat. Pour into greased 8" square pan. BAke at 400 F. for 40 minutes. Serve with whipped cream, topping or ice cream.
