Chicken Livers Indonesian Style

 
Ingredients:
  • 3 Tbs Butter
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 Clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 lb Chicken livers
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup Almonds, ground
  • 1 Tbs Lemon rind, grated
  • 2 Tbs Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
Directions:
  1. Melt butter, add onion, garlic and chili powder, and saute 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add livers and saute for five minutes, until livers are cooked through, but still pink inside. Add remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
